Verification of Transferability*
Use if you are planning to take a course at another institution and hope to transfer it back to UMBC (should be submitted at least three weeks prior to when you plan to take the course)
Evaluation of Transfer Credits*
Use to request a review of transferred coursework already applied to your UMBC record to be reevaluated for general education and major requirement equivalency
Declaration/Change of Major*
Use to change, delete, or add a major and/or minor
Enrollment Verification
Use if you have a form that needs to be signed by UMBC stating your enrollment. If you need enrollment verification and no specific format is required, please see the online instructions here.
Personal Information Update
Use To update personal information including name changes and SSN information
Enroll for Excess Credits
Use to request permission to enroll in more than 19.5 credits in a Fall/Spring semester, more than 8 credits in one of the two Summer sessions, or more than 4.5 credits in a Winter session
Inter-Institutional Enrollment
Use to register for courses at other University System of Maryland institutions while paying tuition only to UMBC
Request for Exception to Enrollment Policy
Use to To request an exception to enrollment policy regarding last day to cancel, drop or withdraw due to extenuating circumstances
Undergraduate Petitions
Use for course repeat requests, late adds, grading method changes, etc.
Time Conflict Exceptions
Use to register for two classes that are in a direct time conflict with each other
Residency Petition
Use to obtain the benefit of instate tuition.
Authorization to Disclose Information (FERPA Release)
Use to authorize UMBC to disclose your financial information to specific people
Mandatory UMBC Health Form
Use to complete mandatory immunization requirements for enrollment at UMBC
